Getting a clean PDF
The PDF paginates exactly like the on-screen preview, so tune spacing and fonts in the Properties panel until the sol-fa view reads well, then export. If a system is crowding, reduce the note or lyric size, or widen the measure spacing.
Keeping lyrics aligned
Lyric words map to beat cells one-to-one. When a note is held or rests, use the lyric tokens (** for empty cells, . for a single empty cell, hyphens to split a word) so each syllable stays under the right beat.
Slurs next to key changes
Use the semicolon form (old;new) for key-change transition notes rather than the legacy old//new. The double slash can be misread next to slur slashes; the semicolon avoids the conflict.
Moving between tools
Export MusicXML to continue in MuseScore or import MusicXML and MIDI to bring existing material in. JSON is the best choice for a faithful backup or for moving a score between accounts, since it preserves the exact source.
