The playground
Your workspace for writing, previewing, and exporting tonic sol-fa scores.

Layout
The sol-fa playground has three main areas. The left panel holds your source text; the centre shows a live sheet preview; the right panel offers properties, syntax help, tips, and examples. Use the toolbar to play back, switch between sol-fa and staff view, and export.
The notation editor
The editor highlights sol-fa syllables, symbols, numbers, and part labels as you type. A toolbar above it inserts common tokens — octave marks, accidentals, barlines, and beat separators — and provides undo/redo. On wide screens you can dock the editor in a strip below the preview to see more of the page.
Saving & sync
Scores save automatically while you work; a local draft is kept in your browser. Look for the sync indicator in the header. Signed-in users can Save a score to the cloud, after which it appears under “My published scores” and opens from any device.
